The UAE is a place of wonder and beautiful things. It is a combination of six Emirates. It is an oil rich area. There are many natural hidden treasures in UAE. Some of the natural treasures are as follow:
Al Wathba Wetland Reserve
Al Wathba Wetland Reserve is the complex of surface water bodies, both natural and man made. It locates around 40 km southeast of central Abu Dhabi, just past Mussfah, established in 1998 by the Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan. Al Wathba contains more than 230 species of birds along with an abundance of aquatic life.
It attracts different forms of life because of the presence of so many different habitats and types of vegetation within one compact area.
Around the coastal regions, an area just north of Abu Dhabi, there are several mountains and beautiful sea cliffs that are a place of some unusual rock structures. By these particular sites, here is an ancient river, which dried out and left some stone formations that is consist of significant vertebrate fossils. These structures are known as the Baynunah and Shuwaihat.
Wadi Al Bih
In the Northern Emirates, Wadi Al Bih is a fantastic area for mountain birding. It takes 90 minutes to drive here from Downtown Dubai through the Emirates Road and Ra’s al-Khaimah. Turn right at the Clocktower Roundabout, after 5.5 km you reach the giant paraffin lamp roundabout, here you pass straight through, drive another 5.2 km through the Coffeepot Roundabout heading towards the massive mountains in the distance.
Wasit Nature Reserves
Wasit Nature Reserves locates in Sharjah, the United Arab Emirates which contains an area of 4.5 square kilometers. Originally, the Wasit Nature Reserve was a waste water dump and rubbish tip called Ramtha Lagoons and include the now disuse Ramtha Tip. In 1990; it became a Bird Protected Area. In late 1990 a lot of the area filled in.
In the North of the dual highway, the second phase having all rubbish and builders rubble is removing.
When driving towards Fujairah, you begin to rise in altitude and see a lot more rocks and cliffs lining the roads. The Emirate mostly consists of mountainous; Fujairah provides great opportunities to have a mountain safari. In general, Fujairah is an attractive place for its Indian Ocean and active marine life.
